The word „self-responsibility“ is in everybody’s mouth. Everyone wants it for his/her team.
Everyone wants to demand self-responsibility in their team. But how? …

The word „self-responsibility“ has the following meaning in itself: to give oneself an answer to something. But to what?…

In the context of a project self-responsibility means:

  • How do I want to get involved in the project in my role as project manager?
  • What is my contribution to the project in my role as a team member?
  • What are my strengths that I bring to the project?
  • What do I want to focus on to make the project a success?

These questions make it clear: Everyone here has something important to contribute to the project!

Thus, with awareness it becomes clear which talents and strengths are involved here already– which SUPERPOWERS are already present in the team!

And by answering these questions together with your team, self-responsibility is awakened, stimulated, and elicited.

And it becomes clear: Hey, we already have a lot of strengths in the game! We already have so many SUPERPOWERS in our project! There are no weaknesses in our team. We are strong!

Talk about the strengths, the SUPERPOWERS, in your team again and again to stimulate self-responsibility and thus activate the focus of everyone on his or her own strengths.
